Given high gas prices and the flood of new and recently redesigned compact cars, you’d assume most sales incentives in this class would be on low-demand models, and for the most part you’d be correct. But the surprise here is the small marketing incentive and cut-rate financing on the all-new and just-released 2012 Honda Civic. Some critics believe Honda didn’t go far enough with the car’s redesign, and perhaps the incentive is a reaction to early shoppers’ indifference.
