New Car Deals for February 2012: Hybrids

Last Updated: Feb 6, 2012

Our list of top incentives among hybrids for February continues lead with models that are not true fuel-economy leaders, including the $97,000 BMW ActiveHybrid7 sedan and the full-size gas/electric-powered pickups and SUVs from General Motors. The Buick eAssist listed below is a so-called “mild hybrid,” meaning a small electric motor augments the gas engine but never entirely powers the car. Still, it’s a reasonably affordable gas-saver. We also found Hyundai offering a $500 cash rebate on its stylish Sonata Hybrid this month, though that wasn’t large enough to be listed here.
