New Car Deals for January 2012: Subcompact Cars
Demand is high, so don’t expect many January cash rebates on the smallest, least expensive and most fuel-efficient cars on the road. In fact, the only cash rebate we found on 2012-model subcompact is on the 2012 Ford Fiesta, and at $500 it’s barely enough to cover the cost of an audio-system upgrade. Fortunately, our list reflects the reality that financing rates at near-record lows means automakers are at least able to sweeten deals in this segment with cut-rate loan programs and affordable lease deals.
